Investor Marius Jakulis Jason and partners seek to acquire Orion Securities
Well-known investor and philanthropist Marius Jakulis Jason, together with his partners, will acquire a majority stake in the investment services company Orion Securities and aims to strengthen one of the largest and most experienced players in the market. Marius Jakulis Jason and investment specialists Mindaugas Strėlis, Alius Jakubėlis and Lukas Žilinskas are buying 80 percent of Orion Securities shares from Orion Managing Partners B.V. and, after the transaction, will hold 100 percent of the company’s shares.
The transaction will be completed upon receiving approval from market supervisory authorities.

The company’s recently appointed CEO, Paulius Žurauskas, notes that the arrival of a strong shareholder with extensive market experience provides a solid financial and value foundation for the new stage of the company’s development.

After the transaction is completed, the main stake in Orion Securities will belong to Marius Jakulis Jason, who will hold 46 percent of the shares.
The new shareholder team expects to further expand the range of the company’s services by leveraging the group’s strategies, including the investment fund management company 1 Asset Management, the family office Taurus Wealth, and others. The aim is to strengthen the company’s position in the Baltic capital market, while continuing Orion Securities’ long-standing traditions and creating added value for both private and institutional clients.
