Julius Juodelė Appointed Head of Markets at Orion Securities
Investment firm Orion Securities has appointed Julius Juodelė, a capital markets professional with more than 15 years of experience, as Head of Markets. According to the company’s CEO, capital markets are expected to play an increasingly significant role in financing Lithuanian businesses over the coming years, making it essential to strengthen expertise and capabilities today.
“Capital markets will become an increasingly important source of financing for Lithuanian businesses in the years ahead. Companies that are able to leverage the opportunities offered by capital markets effectively will gain a clear competitive advantage over those that continue to rely solely on traditional financing sources. At the same time, this will create new opportunities for investors seeking to diversify their portfolios.
Trust is the foundation of our business. It is built by understanding our clients’ needs and acting as a reliable partner in their decision-making. Julius has spent his entire professional career in this field, and I am confident that his experience will further strengthen our Markets team, which already brings together a highly experienced group of professionals, enabling us to become an even stronger partner for our clients,” says Paulius Žurauskas, CEO of Orion Securities.
According to Žurauskas, maintaining the highest level of expertise within the Markets team remains one of the company’s strategic priorities. Alongside its advisory services, Orion Securities will continue investing in digital solutions to provide clients with an even more efficient investing and trading experience.
Juodelė has more than 15 years of experience in the financial sector. Most recently, he led the Lithuanian operations of international financial services providers Corpay and GPS Capital Markets, where he was responsible for business development, corporate client relationships and long-term strategic partnerships. Prior to that, he spent nearly five years at Šiaulių Bankas (now Artea), where he headed the Financial Markets Division.
“In recent years, an increasing number of Lithuanian companies and private investors have come to view capital markets as a natural alternative for financing and investing. At the same time, demand for professional advice and tailored solutions continues to grow. I believe this is one of the most compelling trends shaping the market today, and I look forward to contributing to its further development at Orion Securities,” says Juodelė.
Orion Securities provides a full range of investment services to private and institutional investors. In recent years, the company has consistently strengthened its capital markets business by expanding its team of specialists and broadening the range of investment solutions available to clients.
