8.5% Coupon Bond Offering (Tranche III)
The investment company Renewable Energy Investments (AEI), managed by Lords LB Asset Management, is issuing bonds worth EUR 2 million with a maturity of 7.5 months and a fixed annual interest rate of 8.5%. Both retail and institutional investors in the Baltic States can invest amounts starting from EUR 1,039.68 during the period of April 14–21.
The company, which manages assets valued at EUR 165 million, increased its portfolio of operational solar and wind parks to 303 MW in April and is consistently implementing its strategy to sell all developed and operational projects by the end of 2027.
At the beginning of April, a 66.6 MW AEI solar power plant park began operations in Poland. The already operational parks in Lithuania and Poland, with a total capacity of 303 MW, account for 56% of the company’s portfolio value (EUR 92 million), while projects currently under construction make up a further 30% of the managed asset value (EUR 49 million).
At the end of last year, the company concluded two sale transactions with a total value of EUR 5.6 million: in Lithuania, it sold a 45 MW wind farm under development with a 9 MW storage facility, and in Latvia, a 132 MW wind farm under development. The investment returns reached 18% and 15%, respectively. All projects currently under development by the company are in the sales process, and negotiations are also ongoing with potential buyers for the sale of operational projects.
Funds raised during the bond issuance (tranche III) will be used to refinance short-term liabilities.
