New Board Approved at Orion Securities

A new Board has been elected at the investment firm Orion Securities. It has been joined by Mindaugas Strėlis and Paulius Žurauskas, both of whom bring extensive experience in investment banking, asset management, and capital markets. Alius Jakubėlis continues as Chairman of the Board, while Justinas Jarusevičius remains a Board member. Both held these positions during the previous term, ensuring continuity in decision-making and stable governance.

According to the full range investment firm, the Board will seek to implement the vision of the new shareholders: to become the leading investment services company in the Baltic states.

“Changes in the management structure mark a key stage in the transformation of Orion Securities. By renewing the composition of the Board, we aim to respond even more flexibly to the dynamic capital markets environment and evolving client needs. Our priority is to consistently raise service quality standards in the market. We seek to become one of the strongest and most reliable investment platforms in the region,” says A. Jakubėlis.

The Board changes consistently follow earlier decisions to strengthen the management team. In early February, economist and long-time investment practitioner Marius Dubnikovas joined Orion Securities as Chief Investment Officer. Earlier, the team was reinforced by Saulius Žlabys, who has more than 20 years of experience in financial markets and now serves as Head of the Financial Markets Department. These decisions are linked to the expansion of private banking, family wealth management, and digital investment services.

“Working with clients of various profiles, we see a growing demand for tailored and often complex investment solutions. A strengthened Board and management team enable the systematic development of services and ensure they meet client expectations while making a meaningful contribution to the growth and maturity of the regional capital market,” says P. Žurauskas.

As previously announced, the company’s shareholder structure has also changed. Following approval from market supervisory authorities, 100% of Orion Securities shares are now owned by investor and philanthropist Marius Jakulis Jason together with partners Mindaugas Strėlis, Alius Jakubėlis, and Lukas Žilinskas. Marius Jakulis Jason holds the largest stake, amounting to 46% of the shares.

The newly constituted Board, together with the shareholders and management team, aims to strengthen Orion Securities’ position in the Baltic capital market by continuing long-standing operational traditions and creating added value for both private and institutional clients.
